Welcome to Flavorpalooza. I’m a food allergy mom that loves to cook, ferment, juice, bake and…eat! I’m a former vegetarian and vegan, so quite a few of my recipes still have a healthy plant based focus. You’ll also find quick and easy family meals, fun dessert recipes and more.
I’m also navigating the complicated world of feeding a family with food allergies, intolerances and sensitivities. And, as a family, we’re always trying to eat healthy, so quite a few of our recipes and resources are also special diet-approved: keto, paleo, Whole30, mediterranean, anti-inflammatory and more.
Although my son specifically has a peanut allergy, because of my new awareness about all allergens, I also note when recipes are free of the other Top 8 allergens, or offer allergen-free options or alternatives when I can. My goal is to help busy families find safe, healthy and delicious meals to prepare, and to provide a growing list of useful tools and resources for other busy families!
